As we look forward to the upcoming Cannes, Monaco, and Fort Lauderdale Yacht Shows, Relevance yacht marketing professionals have set out some marketing advice for yachting companies; how to prepare and get the best out of the global presence these yacht shows provide.

The Relevance team was delighted to attend the Monaco Grand Prix over the weekend. It was another action-packed event that was as exciting off the track as it was on it. We were watching from the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel as Ferrari claimed their victory with both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikonnen dominating the race and the podium. The Fairmont Hotel has an enviable view of the street circuit since it is located on the corner of the legendary Fairmont Hairpin, an incredibly technical part of the track where the drivers have to demonstrate a great deal of precision. The luxury hotel is also home to Nikki Beach, a stylish rooftop pool area where VIPs mingle and are entertained by DJs and live music. Under the searing Mediterranean sun, the hotel’s discerning guests sipped cool drinks and enjoyed the highlight of Monaco’s social and sporting calendars. Relevance has been chosen to work with film company Spun Gold TV on their program ‘How The Other Half Lives’, taking place in the Principality this weekend.
Spun Gold TV is one of the UK’s top TV companies, producing for the majority of the major networks (BBC, ITV, C4, SKY and Channel Five). Spun Gold TV always works hand-in-hand with contributors to create the highest levels of trust; and testimony to this are programmes the company has made with the British Royal Family, including: ‘All The Queen’s Horses’, ‘Prince William In Africa’, ‘The Duke At 90’, and ‘When Ant And Dec Met The Prince’ (celebrating 40 years of the Prince’s Trust).
The show, ‘How The Other Half Lives’, is a positive and inspirational look at how some of the world’s most successful individuals and entrepreneurs have forged their careers; their aspirations, incentives and lifestyle. Presented by husband and wife team, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford (household names in the UK), the tone is always celebratory and upbeat.
Spun Gold TV is using Relevance’s unique position in Monaco (and direct contact with luxury goods and service companies in Monte Carlo) to help organise this Channel 5 UK show, coming out early in 2017. Relevance CEO Rumble Romagnoli is being interviewed for the show, and Relevance’s client Luxury & Service is providing a Maserati Grancabrio 157. Relevance thanks its PR team in London, and Freya Olsen in particular, for the opportunity.
Relevance flexed it’s PR and social media muscle as it was awarded tickets to the Monaco Grand Prix 2016 thanks to the Fairmont Hotel in Monte Carlo. The Fairmont Monte Carlo invited Relevance to cover the Monaco Grand Prix from their roof terrace, home to the famous Nikki Beach. Armed with cameras, and quills, Rumble Romagnoli, Matthew Scott, and Darin Graham headed down the Boulevard des Moulins from the Relevance HQ to the Circuit de Monaco and the Fairmont Hotel.
